Embracing the Adventure!

     We each have seen God work in our lives in the past.  He has protected us.  He has cared for us.  He has provided for us.  If we take an honest look back through our lives, we would have to admit that God is alive and well, and He has cared for us in the past.

      I am convinced we can see God work in our present lives, too.  God's work is not limited to something He did in the past.  No.  God is still working in and through the lives of His people.

     These are exciting days for us, if we have the faith to trust God.  Moses reminds us in the book of Deuteronomy how God wants to carry His people as a dad carries his infant son.  Can you picture that with me?  Picture a dad with a child safe in his arms.  Protecting, caring for, and carrying that child across a dangerous busy street.  The child is safe and carefree because the dad is leading and shielding from harm.  That is what God wants to do for us as a church, and for you as an individual.

     We invite you to come and learn more about this God, and what He has for your life.  Would you come to Great Hope this Sunday and learn more about God, about yourself, and about God's care for you?

     God has cared for us in the past.  Let's see Him care for us today and tomorrow as we embrace the Adventure of Following God!
