What to wear
Do I dress casual? Like I’m
going to work? Like I’m relaxing with friends? Like I am going out for dinner?
Well, the easy answer is, “Yes!” When you arrive at Great Hope, you’ll find some
business casual, some “Sunday Best,” and some dress casual. We aren’t concerned
with what you are wearing when you join us…we just want you to join us
Where do I go?
It can be intimidating
walking into our building, so we have greeters prepared to give you a warm
smile, a bulletin, and help you get to where you are going. That being said,
where are you going?
We have a great nursery and children’s program that is
staffed by safe, caring and creative people. For our toddlers, there is a
wonderful Sunday School class that meets at 9:30 and is led by a gifted teacher.
For teens, there is a Sunday School class that gets together at 9:30.
For our adults, there is an Adult Bible Fellowship that begins at 9:30 and
include times of prayer and teaching.
As you enter our building, please feel free to ask our
greeters any questions you may have. We want you to feel welcomed and
comfortable.
When are your services?
Sunday morning at 9:30 -- Our
Sunday school and Adult Bible Fellowships address various topics of interest from the Bible.
Sunday morning at 10:30
-- This is our main service. The Sunday morning service is
focused on allowing those present to worship God in spirit and in truth. These
services normally include congregational singing, musical presentations and a
time of preaching.
We would encourage you to arrive about 10 minutes early so
you’ll have time to park and find a seat in our auditorium.
Are you going to make a big deal about me being there?
No! Now, we can’t help it
when our members introduce themselves, say hello, and ask you about yourself…but
we promise not to shine any lights on you, make you stand up, or be otherwise
embarrassed. As a the pastor, my wife and I would love an opportunity to meet
you and get to know you. You can find us in the auditorium after the
service.
